Who among us wouldn’t want to find ways to make our money last much longer than normal? Sorry to say, but I think you are quite special if you do not think this way. So in these days of financial stress, how can we make our income last longer? Here are some tips to help you out.
Pocket change can be much more
Look back to your younger years when you were quite excited about putting money into your piggy bank. Who said that that thing is only for kids? Why don’t you try this – at the end of each day, dig deep into your pockets and look for your loose change.
Put all your pocket change into some sort of container – buy a bank if you wish. Taking it one level higher, at the end of each month, get all your change and deposit it into your savings account. Better yet, look for a high interest account in which you can regularly invest your pocket change in!
Surf the Internet
Though some may think it overrated, shopping online can save you big bucks if you know where to look. You can even search for coupons which can be used for online purchases, saving you even more money! Of course, I don’t have to tell you to be careful when making purchases online and not to give away your credit card number and other financial details unless you are sure that the site is secure.
